Our Vision
Our Mission
Compassion Helpers is an organization dedicated to provide sufficient care, secure safety amongst clientele, and allow for a comfortable relationship between clients and aides.
The team at Compassion Helpers works to foster a community which supports and uplifts clients through diligent, careful, and compassionate care.
Our Story
Mary always had a devotion to healthcare. After emigrating from England with a nursing career, she served the elderly in their homes. After realizing her potential, Mary became an entrepreneur. In a small, family office in Dorchester, Compassion Helpers was born. For eleven years, Mary and the team at Compassion Helpers have been serving clients with over 55 years of experience and an abundance of Compassion.

"Compassion Helpers has outstanding coverage, including a broad array of aides, ensuring that they can always provide coverage, even on short notice and important holidays. The aides always arrive on time and on schedule. Further, Mary always deals promptly and affectively with the few, rare problems that arise. She has gone above and beyond for us."
- Dedicated Client of 10+ years
"Mary Dunne, with Compassion Helpers, gave me the support needed for my mother with Alzheimer’s. As a middle-aged adult, I have had no experience in caretaking for the elderly. Being the only one of my siblings close, the responsibility was mine, and I had no idea where to start. Not only did they take amazing care of my mother‘s needs in her state of Alzheimer’s, but they assisted me in the steps moving forward. I would say that the outcome would have never been as wonderful without them. I’ll be forever grateful for the care they took of my mother and of me."
